It’s hard to believe this little one is 6 months old. She has a sweet little personality and two parents (and a plethora of other people) who simply adore her sweet little self. When I spend time with new parents it’s a reminder of how quickly our lives can change and the impact of one little person can have in our lives and the sacrifices they’re ready and willing to make… and can I just say that being a parent is NOT EASY? Jeff and Meghan are so sweet with Grace and I could watch them with her all day. Everything she does has them cracking up….At a whopping 14lbs she lays on her belly and tries to swim, has the cutest pouty lip I’ve ever seen in my life, big blue eyes and fuzzy adorable hair and could this girl possibly look more like her Dad? And in spite of all that has to be done to care for a child, day to day, they cherish her for the gift that she is….Grace by definition, divine favor.
As we head into Father’s Day I just want to thank all you kid totin’, teenage raisin’, or empty nested Dad’s out there who did what had to be done and didn’t take it for granted. You are loved. (1John 4:19).
