June 15th already?! Wow!
I’m on vacation this week prepping for my son’s graduation party. He’s my oldest so I’m a newbie at how much work goes into all of this. I will likely have an entire blog post on the whole graduation “experience” and am tempted to write a book about it. Let me just be honest….throwing a party for someone and having NO IDEA how many guests will come is sort of unnerving. I don’t want to have to much or too little food. I could have 100 or 300 people. I’ve spent the week cleaning and getting ready for the party and have just stepped away from work all together which is easier said than done.
I have a ton of Facebook messages and email! It never fails, school gets out and everyone is ready to book a session to update their family photo and you’re right! NOW is the time to schedule this!! So, if you’ve emailed me and I haven’t got back to you I will be returning to my desk on Monday. Until then I appreciate your patience. All messages will be returned in the order they were received.
I am offering mini sessions for families this summer. Last summer I turned away a ton of families because my schedule became overloaded. I hate turning anyone away and so here is my solution – a variety of mini-sessions to be offered all summer and into the fall. There may be an additional date offered in the end but it’s not a guarantee. You have the option to order a la carte and pay just a $50 sitting fee for your 30 minutes or pay the $150 and get your disk included as well. Session is 30 minutes and includes 10-15 images ready to print. This includes minor retouching on any very obvious blemishes. I have already emailed out these dates to my current clients to give them first dibs on appointments and June 28th is sold out. I have a few other dates that are very close, when inquiring please pick two dates if possible.
Please email me at gillisphoto@mac.com to request an appointment. You will be required to pay a $50 retainer to hold your spot. I will email you directions to the location the week of the session. All locations are really beautiful and unique – you will love them!!
